Hi, I managed to get this money module working on my local machine in windows with your help, I would like to now get it working on my gridserver which runs on Linux (Ubuntu 10.4) but when I start mono MoneyServer.exe I get this error....
** (MoneyServer.exe:20441): WARNING **: Missing method set_Instance in assembly /home/opensim/bin/MoneyServer.exe, type OpenSim.Framework.Console.MainConsole

** (MoneyServer.exe:20441): WARNING **: The class OpenSim.Framework.Console.MainConsole could not be loaded, used in MoneyServer

Unhandled Exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'OpenSim.Framework.Console.MainConsole' from assembly 'MoneyServer'.
at OpenSim.Grid.MoneyServer.Program.Main (System.String[] args) [0x00000]

I am using the latest release on Opensim 7.4 but it works perfectly on Windows so I expect it will work on Linux also, any help would be much apreciated.
Thank You
Cam

Hi

"OpenSim.Framework.Console.MainConsole" is OpenSim's class
That means that MoneyServer.exe can not call class from OpenSim module.

It seems that OpenSim is not compiled correctly.
Did OpenSim.exe and Robust.exe work well?

Yes Opensim and robust have been running without problems, I have been slowly adding modules, But Opensim throws lots of red lines now complaining ....
[MODULES]: Could not load types for plugin DLL OpenSim.Forge.Currency, stc stc
and terminates, but it was working before I added the modules.
I didnt compile the money modules myself, I used the binarys

In my case, both of downloaded binary and recompiled MoneyServer.exe work well on latest OpenSim (0.7.4Dev r/18609)

Ummmm...

Please recompile OpenSim and Money Server.

OpenSim:
# ./runprebuild.sh
# nant clean
# nant

MoneyServer:
# cd opensim.currency-0.7.3
# ./build.sh

I am trying to compile MoneyServer and it just fails, I have posted the build log here...
http://pastebin.com/QVXhAwzh
the fail is so complete that it leads me to believe that it is something simple that I have missed.
Thank you

Please ignore my last post, looking at the build.sh file informs me that this file is looking for the opensim path at ../bin , I was trying to compile from the downloads folder, so I moved the opensim.currency-0.7.3 folder to inside opensim folder along side opensim bin folder, and build was successful however there were some warnings, (do I need to worry about these warnings?)
MoneyServer.exe now starts and runs, Opensim.exe also starts and runs, and user can log into grid and has 1000 in balance, can transfer money to other users, but cannot buy currency nor buy/sell land (sounds like last time).
So searching for info but for some reason Apache logs have stopped 3 days ago, no recent error logs or access logs, so I have to sort that out before I can post the error.
I will be back

Ok I have sorted out the logs issue, PHP had problems, I had to compile 5.2.9 because there is no longer any 5.2.x in the ubuntu archives.
During the repair I had to install 5.3 because it was the only thing working, now I am stuck with php5.3.
Does anybody know if 5.4 has resolved the issue that 5.3 created? because I can go up but I cant go down to 5.2 without a serious rebuild and compile.
Also Could you tell me the symptoms of 5.3 (what problems it causes) so I know if this is my only problem
Thank you very much for your time
Cam.
