XoopenSim Admin's manual.

About User type...

• General User： This is ordinary user．
• Admin User： This user is strong permission. This user belongs to the group with the management authority of XoopenSim.
   

Set up common.

• Grid Name: Grid name of OpenSim Grid．
• SQL server name: FQDN or IP adress of MySQL server for OpenSim.
• SQL DB name: MySQL DB name for OpenSim.
• SQL DB User Name: User name of MySQL for OpenSim．
• SQL DB Password: DB password of MySQL for OpenSim.
• Money server's URI: If Your Opensim server's use DTL Money server. Describe this URI(URL). At the present time, only when avatar is deleted, it is used.
• Start position of world map (X): Preview world map when the initial value "X" coordinate by the center.
• Start position of world map (Y): Preview world map when the initial value "Y" coordinate by the center.
• Size of SIM icon on the World Map: Default size(px) of SIM icon on the World Map
• Display format of date(time): Display format of date and time.
• Max Number of Avatars: Number in which one avatar can be owned. This setting is check new avatar creation. When number is 0, ordinary user can not create new avatar．And when number is negative number, infinitely can create new avatar．This setting is not applied to administrator.
• Last Name Activation: Select to last name limitation is active, or not. If it is not checked, user can set up last name freely.
• Default Home Region: Default home region of avatar．

• Do you use HTTPS with POST: Do you use HTTPS, when you send important data (ex. password) to XoopenSim with POST method? It is not necessary to select it, when the whole of this site is already HTTPS. If you use this function, you should evade REFERER error. Please refer this page.
• Xoops Top URL of HTTPS: Specify HTTPS URL of Xoops Module. If this is blank (default), "http:" of XOOPS_MODULE_URL was changed into "https:" is used.

• Group Database Read Key: Specify same read key code with XmlRpcServiceReadKey in [Groups] section of OpenSim.ini
• Group Database Write Key: Specify same write key code with XmlRpcServiceWriteKey in [Groups] section of OpenSim.ini
• Link from Xoops user's name to user information page: It is specified whether to put the link form Xoops user's name to Xoops account information page, when Xoops user's name is displayed on the XoopenSim page. From the viewpoint on security, You might be forbidding user to view other user's account information page using UserInfoProtector. In that case, if this is Yes, it is very annoying.

• Home (DB) Content: Specify content of home (data base) page
• Regions List Content: Specify content of regions list page
• Avatars List Content: Specify content of avatars list page
• Editable Avatas List Content: Specify content of avatars list page
• Disclaimer Activation: Select to display of disclaimer is active, or not
• Content of Disclaimer: Specify content of Disclaimer of OpenSim
   

Auto DB Synchronization with OpenSim DB

• It automatically synchronizes with DB of XoopenSim and DB of OpenSim since v1.40.
• Synchronization of Avatar
  • If there is data of avatar on the OpenSim side, the data of avatar on the Xoops Cube side is copied from OpenSim side.
  • If there is no data of avatar that corresponds to avatar on the OpenSim side, the data of avatar on the XoopenSim side is deleted.
     

Management of Block

Access Permission to Module

• Set access permissions to XoopenSim by "Select User Module -> Group Management menu" or ALTSYS module .
• XoopenSim module access permission is given to the guest user without fail.
• The users who belong to the group of Admin can control XoopenSim completely as administrators.

Block

• There are "Xoops OpenSim Link & Status" block and "Xoops OpenSim Status" block.
• If you do not like those blocks, you can make menus by a Menu Module (ex. multiMenu Module)
